A Note To Interested Performers

WE HAVE JUST MOVED, AND SO ARE ON HIATUS AT THIS TIME. PLEASE DO READ ON!

First: we have two cats.  If you're allergic to felines, I'm afraid this isn't going to work out for you.

Second: this is not a music venue. The concerts we host in our home are a labor of love put on at our own expense.  Plus, as my job requires travel much of the year, there are very few open weekends we are even available to host a concert. Because of this, we present artists by invitation only. If you don't know either of us personally, please don't waste your time or ours. (However, if you do know us and want to see about stopping by sometime when our schedules magically align, please do drop a line. You have our info. :)

Sorry to be so blunt, but I work in "da biz" too and I know firsthand how frustrating it is to pitch a venue for a booking and get no response back. I simply don't have the time to deal with unsolicited booking requests.

If you are looking for a gig in the New Haven area, try the following (most of them have open mics and a good number of opening opportunities):

There is also a pretty comprehensive listing of Connecticut acoustic music venues and series at www.ctfolk.com.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for your understanding.
